She has worked in the dental field for 43 years and has been with our office for 18 years. Becky is retiring from Dorosti Family Dental this week, and both patients and staff will miss her. We asked her to reflect on her career, her work and being part of our team …
Has your job changed over the years?
Well, I started working at the Front Desk, then moved to being an Ortho Assistant, then on to become a Chairside Assistant, then to become an EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary).
What has been the best part of your career here?
Being an EFDA.
Do you have any advice for those who might just be starting out in the Dentistry Field?
Make sure this is what you love and that you aren’t just doing it for the pay-check.
What will you miss the most?
My patients, doing what I do as an EFDA and being part of this dental office.
Any message to your patients?
I will miss you all very much!
What’s next for you? What are you most looking forward to?
Enjoying life and traveling–wherever and whenever we feel like leaving!
Thank you Becky!
