Take Care of Your Oral Health
At Dorosti Family Dental, we offer numerous services and treatments to ensure the health and well-being of our patients. We use the latest in dental technology for the detection and treatment of dental health conditions, but we also take the time to conduct thorough examinations and to talk with our patients about their options.
Our services include:
[tabby title=”Oral Cancer Check and Screening” class=”tab”]
We highly recommend regular oral cancer screenings for the early detection of tumors and lesions. Using Sapphire Plus technology, we scan your mouth for any signs of cancerous lesions so you don’t have to worry. Factors like smoking, alcohol abuse, and age can increase your risk of oral cancer, but everyone should be screened. Early detection increases survival rates and decreases the possibility of cancer cells spreading.
When a tooth cannot be saved with a root canal or other procedure, extraction becomes necessary. Don’t let anxiety or fear keep you out of the dentist’s chair, even when it comes to a tooth extraction. We offer sedation for patients who suffer from anxiety, and we refer complex cases to local oral surgeons we trust. In many cases, the extraction of a single tooth can prevent decay and infection from spreading to neighboring teeth.
[tabby title=”Preventative Care”]
In addition to physical examinations, cleanings, and X-rays, we also offer several preventative services to keep your smile in tip-top condition. Sealants, for example, protect your teeth against decay, while mouth guards and night guards prevent damage to your teeth while sleeping or during athletic activities. If you grind your teeth or suffer from head or jaw pain, for example, a night guard will help. You can also schedule an oral cancer screening during a preventative care appointment.
[tabby title=”Complete Dentures and Removable Partial Dentures”]
Missing teeth often cause our patients embarrassment, frustration, and difficulties with chewing and talking. We suggest complete dentures for patients who are missing all of their teeth, while partial dentures are used for patients with remaining natural teeth. Choose from a variety of denture types and styles to ensure maximum satisfaction.
Periodontal Disease Treatment Periodontal disease, which is also called gum disease, impacts 50 percent of all Americans, according to the CDC. This condition results from an infection in the gums that causes redness, swelling, and discomfort. The gums sometimes become loose, allowing bacteria to slip under the gum line, or they might recede from the surface of the teeth. We offer treatment to prevent further decay and to restore comfort for our patients. If you have noticed inflammation, pain, or bleeding, you might have gum disease.
When teeth are damaged, broken, or infected, we help restore your smile in the least invasive way possible. Each case is different, but restorations might include dentures, bridges, crowns, fillings, root canals, and implants. Our goal is to find a restoration solution that fits your lifestyle and your budget.
If your pearly whites have lost their luster, you aren’t alone. A lifetime of coffee, red wine, and other beverages and foods can dull the color of the teeth, while cigarettes can turn them yellow or brown. Even if you have cared for your teeth, the color can change over time, leaving your reluctant to show them off. We offer professional, in-office teeth whitening that is much faster and more effective than over-the-counter solutions. Many of our patients see improvements after only a single visit!
